Now george, behave...

Even though we haven't posted anything in way too long, this post isn't going to be about T-shirts, it's about the sense of relief and joy we're feeling that we finally did something right by not letting yet another election get hijacked by a bunch of money grubbing, short sighted, self interested, entitled pirates.

It looks like the one thing the bush years have given us is a complete repudiation of his administration and everything it stood for. We're going to say something we never thought we would or could, thank you george bush. Without you subjecting the American People to an unthinkably painful eight years, we're not sure that we, the American People, would have had the courage to put someone like  Barack Obama into office.

After watching you over the last couple of weeks, george, doing interview after interview pathetically grasping for something, anything to hang your legacy on that hasn't been tainted by your actions of the last eight years. It seems that the one thing you may actually be able to lay claim to, however inadvertent, is helping to put Obama into office. Let's just hope that Barack, his administration and the American People are up to the Herculean effort that will be necessary to shovel all  the sh!t you've left behind.

Poppin off.
Bitter - bitter - bitter and just because the Florida crowd could not overthrow the 04 election.
This election was hijacked by the NEA and AFSCME and UAW crowd among others - thick as thieves.
Now there are more people employed by the institutional side than private. Why would anyone work. Why would anyone incorporate in the USA. May as well set up in the Caymens and the U.A.Ee.
Say, after todays coronation why would anyone work.
May as well go get in line somewhere.

Hey Manspace,

Biter you say, well yeah, after corporate america has had their way with our economy for the last 8 years and all we have to show for it is depleted investments, higher costs living ,massive layoffs and business' going under all the while the corporate kingpins are giving themselves and their cronies obscene bonuses just before their respective ships hit the rocks. Yeah, I guess you could say I'm a bit bitter.

As far as there being more people being employed by the institutional side rather than the private, do you watch the news or read the papers, the private sector is laying people off by the tens of thousands.

As to why would anyone work, I know more people who have been laid off in the last year than haven't and believe you me, they'd all rather be working than not even if that means working for the "institutional Side". How else are they going to be able to afford health care that exceeds their monthly mortgage, not to mention the looming costs of their kids college.

I'm as cynical as the next guy when it comes to politics, I just hope that the new administration is a little less short sighted then the previous, only time will tell.

If you could point me in the direction of where someone may be hiring, yeah, I'll go get in line.
